'Great Gulls' is a striking yet simple quilt pattern, constructed using machine piecing and appliqué. The paper pattern includes full size templates and colour illustrations to help you add detail to your gulls. Janet has used her free machine drawing technique but the pattern is suitable for all types of appliqué. The full requirements to make the quilt are: * One 10 inch Layer Cake (contains 42 x 10” squares of fabric) for the pieced front and gulls, or 25 dark and 17 pale 10"square pieces of fabric, 1m bondaweb, 1/2m of dark for binding, plus 3.5m for backing. This would look great in the Longshore range of fabrics by Janet.
